My name is Nami. I’m 19 years old. I live in Kumamoto. I am a student at KGU. I had been playing basketball for 9 years. I won many games by practicing hard. I was captain when I was in my third year of high school. Pulling together was hard work for me. But it was a good experience. I love basketball very much! Regrettably, I don’t play basketball now. I was all skin and bone when I played basketball. So, my nickname was “burdock”. However, my present nickname is “Babe”. “Babe” is the movie about pig. (Do you know?) As you might guess, I got fat! I diet now because I want to be slim. I do sit-ups and squats every day. Then I sometimes run with my dog at Mt. Tatsuda. I want to have the figure of model.
I’d like to introduce my family to you. There are four people in my family. And, I have a dog. This dog is a member of my family. His name is Milky. He is very cute. I love him very much! Do you have any pets? My father is an architect. He works almost every day. He also had been playing basketball for the long time. I talk to him not only about basketball but also about everything. He is very good adviser for me. I respect him. My mother is a housewife. I want to be housewife like my mother, because my mother lives a life of ease. My older sister is a student at KGU. I am always quarreling with her. I was afraid of her. But we are getting along very nicely with each other now. She is a stable person. I am supported by them. I love them very much! How many people are there in your family?
And, I have a part-time job. I work in “WEST”. “WEST” is an udon house. I work about four times a week. Have you ever eaten udon?
I am negative. But I am a good laugher. How about you?
