BR 2-12: Stone Soup

I read Stone Soup, because its title has impact. I am interested in its title. This story is based on an old folktale from Europe. In some countries, it is called Nail Soup and a nail is used instead of a stone.

The main character is a poor old man. One day, the man visited to an old woman's cottage. He said that the man was able to cook soup with stone. So the woman made the man to cook it. But the man said that an onion, a potato and some meat would make it better still. So the woman chopped them and popped it in. The man finished cooking it. The woman was satisfied at its taste. Maybe, the woman forgot to pop an onion, a potato and some meat in. The man was able to have a supper with the woman.

My favorite line is "He washed the stone and put it in his pocket." I can guess that the man keep spending his life same way, because he is poor. I think its line is interesting! And in a sense, he is clever.

BR 2-11: Clever Rabbit and the Wolves

I read Clever Rabbit and the Wolves, because I am interested that how is clever rabbit. And I want to be clever.


A clever rabbit was trapped by 5 wolves. Wolves wanted to the rabbit as dinner. But the rabbit ask wolves to a dance. The rabbit started sing a song, and wolves started to dance . And the rabbit said that turned around on the word tum. And the rabbit sang faster and farster. The wolves stomped their feet. They turned around and around. One by one, the wolves fell to the ground. The clever rabbit was far away during the wolves were too dizzy.


My favorite line is the rabbit said "Don't you want to see my dance?" (Davidson, 2008, p. 4) If I am the rabbit, I wasn't able to say such as it. Maybe, I am eaten by wolves soon. But I want to be clever like the rabbit. I want to spend my life well!

My favorite club

My favorite club is basketball club! I belonged to basketball club for 9 years. I really think it was good for me to belong to basketball club because I had many precious experiences. I practiced hard every day to be champion. And I made many sacrifices because I really wanted to be champion. When I was a high school student, I couldn't associate with a man, eat snacks, and have a cell phone. I had to cut my hair very, very short, so I broke with woman. In practice, I was made to run long time. My coach trained me for win the games every day. So I could train my basketball's skill and my heart. So, I think I could spend precious time on basketball club. I want to play basketball now, so I am going to belong to a basketball club on spring vacation. I wish I can meet good members and enjoy playing basketball with them!!

My favorite dish is pasta! I have eaten many kinds of pasta, for example, carbonara, napolitan, Japanese style, seafood, meat souse and the others. Especially, I like meat souse pasta, because I like taste of ketchup. But I am not good at eating pasta. It is not easy for me to eat pasta because I must eat with folk. I am not clever, so I can't take noodles well. Then I soil my clothes at once. Besides as a tomato souse, stains of clothes are hard to take soon. I'm very sad. However, my father likes pasta too. I am going to tell you about my university life! I am a university student now. I belong to the Department of Britain and America. I take many kinds of classes everyday at KGU. Most of them are first time for me. And I can make many friends! They are very kind and interesting! I can lead a full university life. So, I am going to tell you about my precious university life.

First, I am going to tell you about English classes. They are reading, listening, writing, speaking, and English grammar. I like English now. I always feel drawn toward English. All English classes are very interesting. Especially, I like speaking class because I can experience only first time, for example, presentation, English central, asking many questions to classmates, being teacher and the others. Especially, I am glad to be teacher in front of my classmates. I want to be an English teacher, so I can have precious experiences. It is difficult for me to step only English. I must ask question at once and various question. But I don't fear mistakes, I want to try and try from now on.

Second, I am going to tell you about optional elective classes. Though I take many kinds of classes, especially, I am interested in American literature. I take American literature history and introduction. I can learn about many American men of letters works, for example, Edgar Allan Poe, Moby Dick, Ernest Hemingway, Walt Whitman and the others. Each has individuality. And I can see their movies on screen in the class. I am made to do new feeling by them. I want to read their works from now on.

Third, I am going to tell you about teaching classes. I take many teaching classes now. They are very, very interesting! I can think not only as a student but also as a teacher. And I can learn how to teach English. I can do mimic class at English education theory A and B. I must prepare for class as a teacher, entertained to students, teach English plain, right and the others. It is very, very difficult for me to teach English. But I am really interested in being an English teacher, so I want to study more!

Fourth, I am going to tell you about my friends. There are various students in KGU. They have strong personalities. I am very surprised them everyday. I have many friends now. Recently, I think that I am happy because I have only good friends!! I talk about many kinds of topics, for example, favorites, love, human relation, part- time jobs, family and the others. I like my friends very, very much!!!

Fifth, I am going to tell you about teachers. There are various teachers in KGU too. I can learn many precious things and talk by them. They are kinds but sometimes strict. I like them very much! I want to talk with them more and learn by them from now on.

This way, I spend a precious time! And as you know, I want to be an English teacher. To satisfy my wish, I want to study harder, have various experiences, try to various things, have strong will and never give up!! I think that how to spend university life is the most important for me. So, I want to treasure my university life from now on.

Hello, everyone! We will introduce our restaurant! Its name is Cabo da Boa Esperanca. It is Portuguese. In English, the Cape of Good Hope. In Japanese, Kibou Hou. Have you ever heard it? It is cape in the southwest end of Africa. So, our restaurant is African restaurant!!

First, we will introduce our restaurant's history. An aunt who was Portuguese African cooked local dishes. They received a favorite review, so she decided to open a restaurant named Cabo da Boa Esperanca. She knew Portuguese and African cultures, so she was able to match Portuguese dishes and African dishes. She conducted neighbors dishes homemade dishes were popular with them, so she opened a restaurant.

Second, we will introduce our restaurant's menu. All dishes are little expensive. And some dishes are strange, for example, Caterpillar seasoned with soy sauce, Insect Cocktail, Zebra sashimi, Ammonite stew, Caterpillar Salad, Grilled insects on skewers, Caterpillar fry and Caterpillar extract. But they are very delicious!

Then ,we will introduce popular dishes! First, Pumpkin Soup. It used a homemade pumpkin. It is very sweet and healthy. Second, Banana's leaf wrap ~vegetables and fish~. Salmon is wrapped by Banana's leaf and is steamed. It is very delicious! Third, Caterpillar fry. There are many caterpillars in a dish. They are fleshy and juicy. Please try it! Fourth, Tropical Forest Apple. It used tropical fruits, for example, mango, papaya, acerola etc... Especially, it is popular among women.

Third, we will introduce privilege. You can use T-point card! And every Wednesday, all dishes are half-price! And be careful, if you want to eat Ammonite stew, you need to make an appointment, because they are few lives in the world.

BR 2-10: The Dragon and The Phoenix

I read The Dragon and The Phoenix, because I didn't know this story. And I am interested in the phoenix. ha ha This story based on The Bright Pearl, a folktale from China. In Chinese stories, dragons and phoenixes are often shown together. Chinese dragons have lots of magical powers and can even fly without wings.

This is the story of Dragon Mountain, Phoenix Mountain and a shining lake. It begins thousands of years ago, in China. Long Long ago, a dragon lived beside a magic river. A dark forest grew on the other side of the river. Deep inside the forest lived a phoenix. One day, they met, and a shiny peddle lay on the sand. They washed it and it became a pearl. But that night, the Queen of Heaven sent a guard to steal it. They kept looking for it and they saw it shining in the sky. They flew up to Heaven and saw the Queen. The pearl fell from the sky. It landed on the ground and became a shining lake. The dragon and the phoenix lay beside it. They are still there today.

It is happy end! I like it :) My favorite line is "The dragon and the phoenix stayed on the island watching the pearl." (Resley, 2007, p. 8) I also want to keep watching my important thing. I like fairy tale very much!

BR 2-09: The Peach Boy

I read The Peach Boy, because I am interested in fairy story. It is an ancient Japanese legend, known as 'Momotaro' (which means 'peach boy'). In Japan, peaches are a symbol of good luck for couples who are trying to have a baby. When I knew this thing, I was convinced.

I think you know about this story. But I will introduce you it just to make sure. This story is about an old woman, an old man, an enormous peach, a brave little boy, a dog, a monkey and a pheasant. Once upon a time, an old man and woman lived by a river. When the old woman went to the river to wash their clothes, she saw something floating on the water. It was very, very big!! They cut it, and the peach split in two. Inside, there was a little boy! He was called "Peach boy" by people. He grew up and he went to Ogre island to save people. He met a dog, a monkey and a pheasant on his way. They help him fight the ogres because he gave them a dumpling. They arrived the ogre island. They fought the ogres and they won!

I thought the peach boy is so cool! My favorite line is when Peach Boy said to ogre's king, "Promise you'll never attack anyone again." (Frith, 2009, p. 46). I want to marry with a man like peach boy! ha ha And I want to be strong like him!! ha ha

My favorite motto is "Never give up!" It is very wonderful words!I think that it is simple but its mean is deep. It wasn't my favorite motto because I thought I could have never give up. I wish I had practiced harder. Now, I want to develop because I am very immature. I want to have opinion like adult. To develop, I must not give up! If I fail many times, I would try and try. BR 2-08: Stories of Snowmen

I read Stories of Snowmen, because winter comes soon. I like winter because there are many events in winter. This book consists of three chapters. I will tell you about them.

Chapter 1

The main characters are Jack and Chilly. One winter morning, Jack made a snowman. He calls it Chilly. Jack looked at a board about Christmas party which is put up by Mr. Oats. Jack wanted to go there. But it was necessary to build the bonfire, so he helped. Jack climbed over the fence and picked up an armful of logs. In no time, he and Mr. Oats had built a hige bonfire. But, the next morning, it had vanished. That night, Jack couldn't get to sleep. "Who would steal a bonfire?" he asked himself. Just then, he heard the clattering of wood outside. Jack raced out of the house. Jack couldn't believe his eyes. Chilly the snowman was taking down the bonfire. Then, Jack and Chilly carried the logs to the middle of the field. The pair spent all night building the new bonfire. Mr. Oats was so impressed, he let Jack go to the party. And only Jack noticed the snowman next door give him a grateful wink.

Chapter 2

The main characters are snowy snowman and icy snowman. The children of Frostly were hard at work. Tomorrow was judging day of the Best Snowman Contest. Emma made a snowman named Snowy. It has a broken old walking stick, a moth-eaten woolly scarf and tiny stones for his eyes and month. Daphne Dosh lived next door. She was so rich. So she made a snowman named Icy which looked rich. Of course, she thought her snowman would be No.1. That night, the snowmen of Frostly came to life. Snowy went to look for good items for snowy. And Icy followed Snow. Icy tried to hinder Snowy many times, but he didn't succeed. However, Snowy got many good items. So, Snowy was No.1! Emma was thrilled. But she never found out how her snowman got his new outfit.

Chapter 3

The main character is a snowman named Freezy. Freezy gave a sad sigh. Every snowman in town had shiny pebble buttons, except for him. That afternoon, two men whose names are Sran and Lenny rushed along Freezy's street. Stan pulled a little bag from his pocket. Stan took three shiny stones from the bag and stuck them in Freezy's chest. Freezy was very happy because they looked buttons. Then, a newspaper blew around his feet. Freedy knew that Stan and Lenny were robber three jewels and Freedy had them now. And two men came to Freezy but Freezy ran off in fright. Two men were very surprised because the snowmen ran. The crooks chased Freezy up into the hills to get jewels. Then Freezy had an idea. When the crooks caught up with Freezy, they found him sitting under a ledge. The crooks' shouting made the snow on the hillside shake. With a huge whoosh, it thundered down. Freezy took the diamonds from under his hat and stuck them in the snow. The next day, a policeman pinned a shiny gold medal to Freezy's scarf. That was even better than a button.

These stories are very interesting! I like them. I want to make a snowman when it'll be heavy snow. I want to see snowman runs. ha ha

My favorite shoes are boots, because it is cold now in winter. Boots make me warm. Especially, I like pink boots. I had wanted them since I was a first grade of university student. As you know I love pink because I think it is cute. So, I was very glad to buy pink boots. And they were very cheap! I often wear. Then, I like mouton boots because it is very warm. It is fluffy! I like fluffy goods. But I think, mouton boots were popular until last year. And I like pumps because they are cute and cool. I like footstep when I wear them. They are adult. I took a speaking class last Monday. I interviewed 6 classmates about jobs in the class. I will introduce about it ;)

First, I interviewed to Ayaka. She wants to try nursery school teacher once. Her mother doesn't work, so her mother is housewife. She would never want to be a teacher. If she could do some job, she would want to be a singer. She is good at singing!

Second, I interviewed to Asaki. Her father works in Daihatsu. Her mother doesn't work, so her mother is housewife too. She wants to try singer once. She would never want to be a entertainer of punishment games! ha ha

Third, I interviewed to Kousei. His father is owner of convenience store. His mother is store manager. He wants to try actor once. He would never want to be a pilot.

Fourth, I interviewed to Yukari. Her father is banker of Higo. He must do golf because of companionship of job. He goes to play golf or pachinko in the weekend. He often goes to drink but he doesn't want to goes to drink. ha ha Her mother works part-time in city hall. She wants to try patisserie once. She would never want to be a boxer.

Fifth, I interviewed to Yuuki. His father is salary man. He works corporation named Ricoh. He wants to try astronaut once. He would never want to work in Izakaya. If he could do some job, he would want to be a police because he want to protect people.

Sixth, I interviewed to Chikako. Her father is banker of Higo too. Her mother doesn't work, so her mother is housewife. Her mother often sleeps and housework at home. She wants to try famous actress once. She would never want to be a worker of factory.

I like most of drink! But my favorite drink is fruit juice because I like fruits. They are healthy, fresh and delicious! Especially, I like minute made which is made 100 % of fruits. It costs 120 yen. It is little expensive, but it is so delicious and healthy. My father likes too. I want to have it now. Have you ever drunk it? If you have never drunk it, I want you to drink it! I recommend you it! Recently, I like tea because my friends and my father like it very much. I am influenced by them. I didn't like tea until high school student. But now, I like milk tea, apple tea and fruit tea. I am glad to be able to have it.

BR 2-07: Aladdin & His Magical Lamp

I read Aaddin & His Magical Lamp, because I am interested in this story and I don't know this story clearly. It comes from a collection of Arabian stories known as The Thousand and One Nights. In early telling of the story, the wicked magician isn't named. But in the first Aladdin pantomime he's called Abanazar, so that's the name we've used here. The main character is Aladdin.

There was once a lazy boy named Aladdin. One day, Aladdin was messing around as usual when a man came up to him. Aladdin met his uncle named Abanazar. That evening, Aladdin's new uncle invited himself to supper. When his uncle heard that Aladdin didn't have a job, he bought him a fancy store to run. Aladdin and his mother were very happy! But Abanazar was really a wicked magician. The next day, Aladdin got a lamp by a trap. Suddenly, a huge man rose up in front of him. It is genie of lamp. He told his mother what had happened. She started to polish the lamp and jumped back in fright as a giant man floated out. It is also genie!

Aladdin wanted to get marry with princess Badr-al Budur. She is very beautiful! Once, he failed marry with her, but he really wanted to marry with her, so he used genie of lamp. At last, he succeeded to marry with her!

But Abanazar tried to prevent his life of marriage. He went to Aladdin's city. He robbed the lamp and used it. He told his wish to genie of lamp. Then, later that morning, Sultan looked from his window and nearly fainted. Aladdin and Princess' palace has gone! And Aladdin thought the accident was occurred by Abanazar. So Aladdin make Abanazar drunk poison. Abanazar died.

But they still weren't safe. Abanazar had an evil brother and he wanted revenge. The brother dressed up as Fatima, a holy woman. He stood out side Aladdin's palace pretending to heal people. Badr was very excited to see Fatima and invited her inside. He is dangerous Aladdin thought. So he helped her and beat the brother with genie of lamp. With no more evil men to brother them, Aladdin and Badr were safe. In time, Aladdin became Sultan and his mother became a grandmother. They had all they could wish for, so the lamp and ring were left in a drawer. Who knows... the genies may still be there today.

I think it is very interesting! I can know about it more. I want genies of lamp because I have a lot of wishes now. ha ha I recommend you it ;)

I have a lot of favorite TV show. I will introduce about one. I watch Yi San on TV every week with my parents. It is Korean drama and so famous in Korea. It is about love, friendship, human story and so on. The main character is prince of Korea in the 18 century. He lost his father by plot when he was 11 years old. At the time he met a girl whose name is Sonyon. They swore forever friendship. Their friendship is very wonderful! I want to have friendship like them. And they had loyal sentiment. But he was involved in a conspiracy. But he struggled and didn't lose!! I cannot help feeling!!! I want you to watch it! I can really recommend it to you!

My favorite clothing is pink's clothes. As you know, I like pink! If I didn't wear pink's clothes, my friends asked to me "Why don't you wear pink's clothes?" So, I want to wear pink's clothes. However, I have many kinds of colors clothes, for example, purple, orange, white, pink and the other colors. Almost of my clothes are vivid colors. Most people said, "Simple is the best." But I don't think so. In my opinion, I am matched only vivid color. And, my favorite clothing are sweater, boots, skirt, necklace and cheap. I want to buy clothes cheap more and more. I don't want to buy expensive clothes. But I want to wear expensive clothes in the future.

BR 2-06: Stories of Magic Ponies

I read Stories of Magic Ponies because the book cover is very cute! The main characters are ponies. There are three topics in the book. I will introduce second story.

The main character is a pony named Moonbeam. She is plain white but all the other ponies have beautiful coats. So she need to help by a pony named Shadow. Shadow was the most magical pony on the island. But ponies said her magic was as dark as her name. The next morning, Moonbeam trotted through the Dark Woods to Shadow's house. Moombeam want Shadow to be beautiful her coat. Shadow picked up a brush and began to paint Moonbeam's coat with magic glue. Moonbeam fluttering her wings. She flew higher and higher, until she reached the rainbow.

But when Moonbeam saw the rose reds and shining purples, the bright greens and golden yellows, she wanted them all on her coat. Ignoring Shadow's warning, Moonbeam weaved in and out of the rainbow. She painted her coat with all its shades. Then she flew down to the Pony Pools, to show off to all the other ponies. Everyone was silint. Then her mother gasped. Moonbeam looked at her legs and her back. All the shaded had mixed together to make a horrible, murky mess. Moonbeam blushed. All the ponies splashed Moonbeam until she was sopping wet.

I think it is interesting and cute! All the ponies' name are very beautiful!

BR 2-05: Stories of Witches

I read Stories of Witches because I was interested in Halloween and witches. Of course, the main character is witches. There are three stories of witches in the book. I will introduce one. This begins with a witch called Bess and an invitation to a party. Bess loved parties. There was just one problem. Bess couldn't remember where she had put her broomstick. The broomstick was lost. At last, Bess had to give up. She couldn't fly without her stick and it was too far to walk.

Then she had a great idea. "My magic rope!" she cried. "I can turn someone into a horse and ride to the party. I just need to find someone." Bess hid behind a tree and waited. Soon, a man came along. His wife walked behind him, carrying all their heavy bags. Bess let the man pass. "He's no good, he's limping, will be strong from carrying all those bags." She jumped out and threw her rope over the woman.

At once, the woman turned into a horse. Bess climbed onto her back. "Now for the party. Giddyup!" she cried. The man kept limping. At first, he didn't notice what had happened. But when he looked back all he could see were his bags, and a horse galloping off in the distance. The man went to get the bags, but he couldn't find his wife. Nobody had seen her.

Crossly, the man picked up the heavy bags. "I'll just have to carry these myself," he said. Along way away Bess had he stopped. The horse was worn out and so were her shoes. At the next village, Bess took her to a blacksmith. With four new horseshoes, the horse was ready to go.

At the party, the witches skipped silly songs before casting spells on each other, just for fun. All too soon, the party was over. The other witches flew off on their broomsticks. Bess untied her horse and set out for home. Bess was nearly home when she met the man she had seen before. He was still carrying the heavy bags. Bess gave the horse to the man. And the man gave Bess a bag of gold and climbed onto the horse.

Then, the man go home with the horse. He took off the rope and jumped back with surprise. The horse had turned into his wife.

It is funny story. I like this story. But I don't want to be woman like the witch.

My grandmother

My grandmother came my home on November 6th because I called her. I wanted to wear long-sleeved kimono once. I will were my mother's kimono at festival of adult. And my grandmother learned dressing kimono before. So I had my mother's kimono worn by my grandmother. My mother's kimono is based black. But it painted by many colors. It is matched me! I was very happy!

After that, we went lunch at cafe near my house. We ordered lunch menu. They are so delicious! We talked about a lot of things, for example, war, family, future, marriage, grandfather and the others. I shocked when I heard war's story. Until yesterday, a drama about Japanese Amiricans on TV. I was reccomend it by my grandmother. So I watched it. I was very sad and moved! I didn't know that tragedy. So It was good for me to watch it! We must learn about war. I really think so. We must thank present surroundings and family. I was very happy to talk with my grandmother ;)

Essay 2-02b: My lang. learning experience

I learned Japanese, English and French in kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school and university and other places. I leaned only three languages. I like all of them. I have leaned their languages from early childhood. I am going to tell you about my learning experience of English and French!

I took an English conversation class in the cradle. The classroom was in Kokai. I went there about once a week by my mother's car. My teacher was very beautiful and attractive! My mother, my classmates and I liked her very much! There were many games, card games and the others. There were many events every year in the class; for example, there were Halloween, Christmas (Eve), Birthday and the others. I was always looking forward to turn their events because I wore a costume and I was able to eat snacks. I liked Halloween the best because we wore some costumes of witches, Jack-o'-lantern, ghosts, and I took many pictures!

When I was a junior high school student. I took an English class three times a week. My teacher played Western European music on the CD as soon as the class started. We sang many songs. For example, Last Christmas, I was born to love you, Help, Let it be, I just called to say I love you, We are the Champion and the other songs. All the songs were very famous in the world! I liked to sing their songs very much! So I was looking forward to take the English class every time! By the way, my high school teacher of English was very strict. But his lesson was very plain!

When I was a junior high school student. My English teacher was very interesting! So the class was interesting too! The class was very practical. We were able to understand the uses of English grammar because we were made to say example sentences. So we were able to memorize naturally. I was very happy to meet the teacher!

Someday, I want to be an English teacher like her!! I want to make students listen to English music!

By the way, I studied French when I was a freshman in university. I think French is very cool. It is difficult for me to speak it, because pronunciation is different from English. I want to study it again.

I study English everyday now. I always study with using my computer at home about for an hour. I am not good at speaking, reading, listening and writing. Recently, I like speaking the best about English. I have really good time in the English class until now.

I like class of literary history of America the best because we can see many kinds of movies and learn distinction of all periods. The class is very interesting. Of course, I like all classes because all teachers are very interesting and how to teach is good. Then, I like English teaching classes.

I am going to take an English class like above and I am going to meet an English teacher like her from now on. I want to be an English teacher in my future. My favorite candy is milky! This taste is very good! Don't you think it is good taste?　This is famous for Japan. By the way, my dog's name is Milky too! And this candy's cover is very cute. I have a lot of good memory when I was a junior high school student. When I was a third-year student, I danced matsuken-sanba and sakura with my classmate girls in the school sports. Essay 2-02a: My lang. learning experience

I learned Japanese, English and French in kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school and university and other places. I learned only three languages. I leaned languages from early childhood. I thought leaning languages were very important for me because I was able to learn not only languages but also cultures.

I took an English conversation class in the cradle. The classroom was in Kokai. I went there about once a week by my mother's car. My teacher was very beautiful and attractive! I, my mother and my classmates liked her very much! There were many games, card games and the others. And there were many events every year in the class. For example, there were Halloween, Christmas (Eve), Birthday and the others. I was always looking forward to turning their events because I wore a costume and I was able to eat snacks.

When I was a junior high school student, I took an English class three times a week. My teacher played Western European music on the CD as soon as the class started. We sang many songs. For example, Last Christmas, I was born to love you, Help, Let it be, I just called to say I love you, We are the Champion and the other songs. All the songs were very famous in the world! I liked to sing their songs very much! So I was forward to taking the English class every time!

When I was a junior high school student, My English teacher was very interesting! So the class was interesting too! The class was very practical. We were able to understand the uses of English grammar because we were made to say example sentences. So we were able to memorize naturally. I was very happy to meet the teacher!

I read The RUNAWAY PANCAKE, because the book cover is very cute and the title has a impact. It is a folk tale from Germany and Norway. There are different versions with different characters, but the pancake always gets eaten at the end.

The main character is a pancake. There was once a family with seven children, and they were always hungry. One day, their mother decided to make pancakes for breakfast. She poured the mix into a pan to cook. She tossed the first pancake, up in the air and down again. But the pancake didn't want to be eaten. It jumped right out of the pan and rolled out of the door. They all went running after it. The pancake rolled out of the gate and into the road, faster and faster. The dog was snoozing in his kennel when the pancake rolled past. The pancake rolled on with the dog and all the family chasing behind. A rabbit in a field saw the pancake rolling past. The pancake rolled on with the rabbit , the dog and all the family chasing behind. A duck on the stream saw the pancake rolling past. The pancake rolled on with the duck, the rabbit, the dog and all the family chasing behind. Then, the pancake met a cat, a goat, a fox and a pig. Finally... the pancake was eaten by the pig. The pig told a lie to the pancake.

I think it is interesting and funny story. And this story is similar to The Old Woman who swallowed a Fly. The rhythm is good and it is easy to read it. So I recommend it to you! I want you to read it ;)

I like all seasons! However, my favorite season is winter because there are a lot of events in winter. For example Christmas eve, Christmas, New Year's day, my mother's birthday and my birthday! I read The Emperor's New Clothes, because I want to know clearly about this story. It was first told by Hans Christian Andersen, who was born in Denmark in 1805. He was the son of a poor shoemaker but grew up to write hundreds of fairy tales.

The main character is an emperor who loved clothes. He really didn't care about anything else. He ignored his soldiers avoided his advisors hated plays and only liked riding in the park so he could show off his amazing outfits. But the emperor had a problem. The royal procession was in two weeks' time, and he had nothing to wear.

So, his servant who named Boris spent all day looking for an incredible outfit. He wasn't having much luck, until two strangers rushed up to him. They said to Boris that they were the finest clothes-makers in the world. They were taken to the emperor at once. They arrived at the palace and emperor's room. They made magical clothes for the emperor. The emperor was very excited. So the emperor gave them much money. But when Boris went in the emperor's room, he could see nothing but empty looms.

Word quickly spread through the kingdom that the emperor had ordered some amazing and mysterious new clothes. And the emperor couldn't wait a moment longer to see them. He called Boris and the palace footmen, and went to see Slimus and Slick at work. On the morning of royal procession, the emperor went to put on his new clothes. He was filled with nervous excitement. But they didn't make clothes. The emperor was naked. But they admired.

The crowd gasped as the emperor emerged. Everyone had heard that only clever people could se his clothes. Everyone criticized. The emperor heard their words and shivered. Suddenly, he felt very cold. He looked down. To his horror, the emperor saw that they were right. Then he blushed bright red all over. The emperor held his head high and walked more proudly than ever. Meanwhile, Slimus and Slick were packing their bags full of money, getting ready to flee the palace forever. As for the crowds... they were enjoying the best procession ever. Boris, of course, wasn't having such a good day.

My favorite movie is KIMINI TODOKE. The comic book became a movie. I read this comic since I was a high school student. It is about pure story. It is very interesting! The heroine is Sawako Kuronuma. She is very obedient and positive. But her hair is like Sadako in Ring. So, she is always scared by almost everyone. The hero is Syouta Kazahaya. He is very cool and very kind. He is liked by everyone. Of course, I love him! He falls in love with her gradually. But they can't tell what they want to tell. So the title is KIMINI TODOKE! And the theme song’s title is KIMINI TODOKE too! It is sung by group of Japanese named flumpool! The song is very good too! I like it! The movie is happy end! I recommend it you! BR 2-01:Sleeping Beauty

I read Sleeping Beauty because the title is very good! Sleeping Beauty was first recorded by the French storyteller, Charles Perrault, in 1697, but there have benn many diffent versions since. This version is based on the retelling by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, brothers who lived in Germany in the early 1800s.

The main character is a woman named Rose. She is the most beautiful girl in the kingdom, clever enough to beat the king at chess, have grace in all she does, dance to pergfection, play every instrument like an angel and sing like a nightingale because fairies said in the party at castle. But a bad fairy named Nightshade said "On your sixteenth birthday, you will prick your finger on a spinning wheel and... DIE!" But... a fairy named Jasmine still have her wish, so she said "You will prick your finger, little Rose, beu you won't die. You and everyone else in the catsle will fall into a deep sleep."

Time went happily by and Rose's sixteenth birthday comes. Rose was pricked by the old woman. Rose and everyone else in the catsle fell into a deep sleep. All the clockes stopped. The place was silent and still except for rose bushes. They spread like ivy, covering everything in the path.

They grew so puickly that, soon, the entire catsle was covered in thick roots and sharp thorns.

For one hundred years the catsle stayed hidden. princes from far and wide heard about thespell. They came in their hundreds to try to rescue the princess known as Sleeping Beauty. But the thorns cut their skin and roots wrapped around their legs like snakes. One by one, they gave up.

One day, a brave prince named Florien rode by. As sword touched a branch, something magical happened. Each sharp thorn became a sweet-smelling rose. He arrived at Rose and he kiised her soft lips. Her eyes opened and everyone else in the catsle too! Rose and Florien were married the very next day. They lived happily ever after and the prince always lost at chess.

My favorite sport to watch

I like to watch almost of all sports. Especially I like to watch basketball. I sometimes watch NBA. I am very excited when I watch NBA because NBA players' play is very wonderful! And, I sometimes watch bj league.　Bj league is Japanese pro basketball player’s fight for the champion. It is prefecture match. They do dunk shot too! SWIMMING

I went swimming to Eminurse with Yukari, Saki and Ai. I haven't swum for a long time! So, I was looking forward to swimming very much! We met at KGU and we went by Yukari's car. Thank you Yukari :) We talked about a lot of thing in car. We enjoyed. But on the way, we lost the way. So we returned and we went to a filling station to hear about the way. Finally we arrived at Eminurse. We changed the wear soon. But as soon as we went pool, it started rain and thunder. We were very shock!! Time went by, we started swim in the pool! We enjoyed swimming!!! Ai brought four float rings and rice bowls! Thank you Ai :) Rice bowl was very delicious! We swam about for three hours. We had a good time!!!

My favorite elementary school is to have been No, 1 at championship of long rope when I was a fourth grade of elementary school. I can't forget the memory because I and my classmate really did us best. My class's teacher was very good. So we were able to practice every day, every after school and every rest time. ♡GOLDEN WEDDING♡

I went to HOTEL NIKKOH with my family, grandparents, uncle and aunt for my grandparents' golden wedding anniversary. It was first time I went there, so I was very excited! We took dinner at BENKEI in Hotel Nikko. I was surprised because it is very large and high-grade. I was looking forward to eat their dishes. We had full course. They served many kinds of dishes and many dishes. Almost of them what I had never ate. All dishes look expensive! Of course, they were very expensive. ha ha They were very delicious! Especially I was excited when I took a dish of AWABI!! I heard Awabi is very expensive and I wanted to eat awabi since before. So I was very glad to eat it :D I want to eat it again! ha ha

I had a very good time there! I want grandparents to live a long life, live in friendship and be careful their health from now on because I love them :)

I went to NHK to work with Saki! It was first time to go there. I was excited! ha ha

We met in front of Nagasaki-shoten at 10 o'clock. We walked to there. We enterd to there, there were many machines which I have never looked!! We worked about for 7 hours. We talked about a lot of things! I had a good time! Of course, we took lunch at Cafe in there. We ate A-set. They were very delicious! And workers in there looks so cool!!! I thought I want to work in there in near the future! ha ha

I want to work there again!!

After work, we took dinner at PRONTO in shimo-tori. It was first time! I want to go there because their dishes are very good and waiter and waitress are very good!! I recommend there :)

I was so busy on August 19th because I went to some places.

First, I went to Kumamoto university to play basketball with member of English conversation class and others. I like basketball very much, so I was glad to play basketball. Except I and she have no experience, but everyone did their best!!! And everyone's talk was very excellent!!!My mind was moved. After we took a class, I and Cathy went to Donut shop at Kokai-bashi to meet a senior. It was first time to meet her and I went there. I ate two donuts. And we talked about a lot of things. I talked to her about my worry. She is very kind and I could talk what I wanted to talk. Though we had short time, I had a very good time!

After that, I returned my home because I must have change my wear. I went to Kokufu high school to play basketball. I met my friends and teammate. I was happy! I want to go to play basketball there!!

Then I also returned my home because I also must have change my wear. I went to downtown to meet my friends. A friend came back Kumamoto, so we went to dinner. I was glad to meet them!!

I went to the English conversation class. After that, I and Chikako went to downtown with senior of the class. We ate sweet. I ate a chocolate pafe. It was so delicious!! I went to KGU at 9:30 because I was invited English conversation by Chikako. Chikako met a woman in this summer vacation. Chikako was invited her English conversation by the woman. I and Chikako went to downtown. I took a meal with Chikako at J cafe. It was first time for me. They were very delicious!! I recommend you :) We talked with a lot of things. After that, we went to PALCO because Chikako want good pants. But I bought two clothes. I'm sorry Chikako! ha ha I had a good time♪♪

JEFF'S BAR on August 16th

I went to downtown on August 16th. We were supposed to meet PALCO at six. We must have had a dinner. We looked for a good restaurant but we didn't know it. So, we had a dinner at Yoshinoya! We ate Tekka-don! It was delicious! I recommend you :)

And... I went to Jeff's bar with Ayaka and Ayaka's uncle. It was first time that I went to there. I was looking forward to meeting to Jeff!!! But he wasn't there :( Soooooo sad!

But I was so excited because I think bar's atmosphere is adult. I'm very happy!!

I drank non-alcohol!! It was so delicious :) A saleslady is good at making drinks.

I want to go there again!! And I really want to meet JEFF next time!!
